Summary: This property shares a double or triple-sized lot with another property. There is a common lawn with no fences or boundary markings, so you have uninterrupted, breath-taking views of a large expanse of lawn and ocean. The view can be enjoyed at the picnic table by the ocean, in the living room, on the deck, and in each of the three ocean-facing bedrooms.In addition, the sounds of the surf are prominent, which my wife and others who stayed with us particularly enjoyed.When one can tear oneself away from the view and the ocean sounds, the property itself is delightful. The four bedrooms all have very comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well equipped. (There's a separate refrigerator for drinks). The living room has excellent light for reading.The location is great. Foodland (for groceries) is 1.7 miles, Haleiwa (for multiple restaurants) is less than 4 miles. We saw turtles and whales from the property, and watched surfers just off shore. Driving to the Banzai Pipeline (3.0 miles), we watched a professional surfing competition.There are many other activities close by. We took surfing lessons at a beach just before reaching Haleiwa, went kayaking (seeing rays) and standup paddle boarding in Haleiwa, went to the Toa Luau (the MC was great!), snorkeled, and swam. And then came back to that great view!Highest recommendation. Stay here if you can. I've already requested reservations for next year.
