Positive: Our stay at Waikomo Streams was absolutely wonderful. Apart from the incredible pool, the apartment itself offers so many amenities that it’s honestly hard to list them all. You could arrive with just a suitcase, stay for six months, and still not miss a single thing. Everything you might possibly need is already there. For us, the washing machine turned out to be especially useful. We were doing a lot of trekking, and with the muddy weather, it made a huge difference to be able to wash and dry our clothes easily. What truly made this place exceptional, though, was the way the owner allowed us to completely immerse ourselves in the spirit of the island. Every day we listened to the Hawaiian music records that were available in the apartment. During our drives, we read the books provided about the island’s history, geology, plants, and birds. It added such depth to our experience and made our stay feel meaningful and authentic. I genuinely felt as if someone had welcomed us into their own home, not just a rental apartment. It was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
