Summary: The location was perfect. Close to the beach and bike path. Bob was a very gracious host but not intrusive. The Hula House is a nice , modest, clean and convenient way to see all that the North Shore has to offer. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we prepared a few meals and had everything we needed. As the other reviews may have mentioned , you do have to walk outside and down stairs to get to the bathroom, however we didn't mind because it gave us an extra chance to enjoy the stars at night and the beautiful outdoors. If you are wanting resort amenities this may not be for you, but if you like clean, comfortable, charming and close to the beauty of the north shore beaches at an affordable price, this is the absolute best!! We are counting down until we can visit and stay in the charming Hula House again. The bikes, beach towels, wake boards , cooler and even sun screen were an extra added bonus. Highly recommend this property.
