Getting Here: From Kona International Airport to Hawi, the distance is approximately 50 miles, taking around an hour. Travel North on Highway 19 until you reach the Kawaihae junction, which takes about half an hour. Turn left towards the harbor and follow Highway 270 North to Hawi for about 17 miles. Upon reaching Hawi Town, make your first right at the gas station onto Hawi Hill. Continue up the hill for approximately 2 miles, turning right at Kohala Mountain Rd. After 3 city blocks, make your first right onto Puu Mamo, continue for 1.5 miles until Puu Mamo dead ends—where it changes to Kamalei Place. Make a left turn; go uphill and take your second left, which is the entrance to our driveway. Look out for a yellow fire hydrant on your left, as our driveway is the next left.
