Summary: Our nearly two-week stay at the Cowboy House at Puakea Ranch was a truly delightful experience for our family group of 6 with ages ranging from 5 to 75. The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped, and the swing and hammock were really popular with my granddaughter. The lush farm grounds, the ocean view, and the beautiful natural pool provide a tranquil setting for a longish stay, while still being close enough to Hawi township for grocery and crafts shopping and great espresso coffee. The farm animals - especially Romeo the goat - were a huge hit. Our stay was made all the more memorable by the friendly, responsive and always helpful approach of the property manager. I highly recommend the Puakea Ranch for a relaxing family holiday in beautiful and peaceful surrounds under a starry sky.
