Located just 2 miles north of historic Hilo Town, Hale Kai Hawaii Suites offers four distinct oceanfront rooms available for individual bookings. Enjoy a magnificent panoramic vista overlooking the vibrant blue waters of the Pacific Ocean and Hilo Bay. With a prime location adjacent to the popular Honolii surfing beach, you'll find tranquility complemented by some of the best views in Hilo while relaxing at our pool or on the oceanfront lanai.

The Pele Suite provides you with a serene garden view bedroom featuring a California king bed, along with a separate sitting room boasting an ocean view. This cozy space is furnished with a Hawaiian-style loveseat, table and chairs, as well as a kitchenette equipped with a portable one-burner cooktop, microwave, small fridge/freezer, coffee maker, hot water pot, and all necessary dishes and utensils. Additionally, you will benefit from WiFi access, SMART TV, a private bathroom with a shower, ceiling fans, and a portable fan — please note that this suite does not include air conditioning. A sliding door leads to your personal lanai for those captivating sunset views. The sitting room presents an ocean view, while the bedroom overlooks a charming walkway garden. Continental breakfast items are refreshed daily, and you’re welcome to take a dip in the pool or relax on the oceanfront lanai.

Important details: Each room comes with one parking spot within this peaceful residential neighborhood. All guest accommodations are situated on the lower level of the property, accessible via over 20 steps (as depicted in the images). Please be prepared to carry your luggage to your room. Reservations are limited to 2 guests per room (ages 13 years and older), and we maintain quiet hours from 9 PM to 8 AM to ensure the comfort of all visitors. Mahalo for your understanding!
