Welcome to our professionally designed tropical oasis on the Kona Coast, located on Ali’i drive. Get away from the more populated islands and enjoy true relaxation on the Big Island. This home is the ideal staging point to explore all of the hidden wonders of Hawaii.
You will be tempted to stay and enjoy the beautiful décor, but if you spend all day inside you are doing Hawaii wrong. Get outside, get tan and make some memories!
You will find the check-in process easy with smart locks and a custom code. As you open the door you will enter a modern living room with vibrant splashes of tropical green. A Roku enabled television has been provided so that you can log in to all of your favorite streaming services and enjoy entertainment between beach trips. You will find the couch folds into a twin size bed.
To your right, enter through the sleek sliding door into the dedicated work space. If you are going to be stuck on a computer in paradise we wanted to make sure you at least had an unobstructed view of the mountain. Crank open the window and catch the ocean breeze as you bask in the tropical colors and sounds.
Behind you is a sleeping area perfect for enjoying sunrises and listening to the calls of the exotic birds singing in the morning.
As you return to the main living area make sure you notice the beautiful mid century modern dining set that overlooks the community garden. If you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of Geckos as they scurry in the foliage.
While exploring the kitchen you will catch glimpses of the ocean and maybe even hear the crashes of the waves. The door leads to your private lanai with lounge chairs and peek-a-boo views of the ocean. Make sure you open the deck box and inspect the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards and snorkel gear that will make trips to the beach stress free, active and full of memories.
Returning inside, you will notice the stocked bathroom including towels for all of your party, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer.
Finally you are in the bedroom. The space has been tastefully decorated continuing the jungle theme and including a full length mirror and California King bed. The plane might have been cramped but you can spread out here! Above the bed is a window A/C unit that you can use if the ocean breeze and ceiling fans are not keeping the space comfortable for you. The closet holds all of the sheets needed for the pull out bed as well as a pack and play and folding high chair for the little one. Now that you have established your home base, go out and explore all that Hawaii has to offer.
You will have full access to the assigned parking spot, condominium unit and private lanai with the exception of the cabinet labeled "Host's Cabinet". There is community access to the pool, a BBQ and dining area and the tropical garden. Please do not go into any areas that are marked as private or restricted access.

Location
• In the Kona Riviera Villas complex on Ali’i Drive – just south of downtown Kona.
• Enjoy the ocean waves and make sure to visit Ali'i Gardens marketplace slightly south of our complex.
• Perfect place to enjoy the relaxation of the ocean while also being close enough to the excitement of downtown.
Recommendations
• To explore everything on Hawai’i Island, we recommend a rental car. Rental options are available in downtown Kona and at the Airport.
• Bike shares are available throughout Kona. The closest station is about .5 miles north of the complex.
• Kona Trolley has a stop near the Reef Liquor store and Deli. Anticipated schedule can be found by searching for “Kona trolley” online.
Things to know
While the complex is ocean front, our unit only has peekaboo views of the ocean. Please keep this in mind while anticipating your trip.
Most Hawai’i homes do not have air conditioning and the bedroom window unit will not cool the entire condo. Opening the windows and running fans is both effective and ecofriendly.
Our unit faces Ali’i drive. There will be traffic noises from the street side of the unit. Please be aware.
We are on the second floor. Stairs are used to access the unit. No elevator is available.
There is a single community pool with no hot tub. The pool is wonderfully maintained with gorgeous views.
Some neighboring units allow smoking. We do not. Occasionally you may smell some of the odor during your stay.

We charge $20 for early check in and check out. Dependent on availability.
1. Quiet hours are 9:00 pm to 8:00 am. All noises from whatever source shall be controlled as not to disturb or annoy other residents.
2. Do not hang towels or swimwear from the lanai railings. You can dry items on the lounge chairs on the private lanai or on the community clothesline located in the north east corner of the complex.
3. Do not flush feminine products, "flushable" wipes, etc. down the toilet. Only flush toilet paper and waste.
4. All guests, association employees, and vendors to be treated with respect. No foul language, or threatening statements permitted.
5. The use of cell phones outside of any unit is to be held to normal speech volume and not to disturb any other guest on any lanai. Use of cell phones outdoors is prohibited during quiet hours.
6. At no time is the feeding of birds or other animals permitted.
7. No illegal activity or hazardous materials, such as fireworks or other combustibles are permitted on property.
8. Kitchen disposals are for disposing of soft waste. No pineapple rinds, banana skins, artichoke leaves, flower stems or seeds of any kind should be put down the disposal.
9. Barbecuing is only allowed in the designated area by the pool.
10. Surfboards, bicycles and related items must be kept in the confines of the unit, not visible to other residents.
11. Bikes, skateboards, and related vehicles are not permitted in the common areas.
12. The grounds, walkways, lanai entries, stairways, building entrances and parking areas are for ingress and egress only and are to be kept free of obstructions.
13. The County of Hawaii prohibits smoking within 20 feet of any public area, which include the parking lot, pool area and walkways. Smoking includes tobacco, marijuana or electronic. The Board considers the common elements of the property public areas. Please be considerate of others. A smoking area is provided at the South end of the parking area.
14. Only one vehicle per unit is permitted to use the parking lot. Each unit is assigned a marked space.
15. Pets are not permitted. All leash laws must be complied with and any damages are the responsibility of the owner.
16. Please use a coaster for ALL drinks :)
