Positive: This is not a fancy place. Cottage is a little small and I could smell a little mold. However in spite of all tiny discomfort, this gallery + garden cafe + cottage complex brought full of joy and wonder to us. We both appreciated their free homemade sweets every day, and enjoyed vegetarian fair at the cafe. More than anything, we are so so impressed by owner’s art and that special secret garden. We could feel and touch the spirit of Hawaii and volcano, which was priceless.

Negative: If we stop the frequency machine while we’re out, we could smell molds later. It is an old facility and no AC, so if you are looking for somewhere comfortable and clean, modern accommodations, I don’t recommend this place.
