Nestled within a sprawling 5-acre tropical estate, this charming Private Garden Cottage offers stunning garden views featuring vibrant royal Poinciana trees, majestic monkey pod trees, and other exotic palms. Guests consistently describe their experience as 'peaceful,' making it the perfect retreat for relaxation.

This cozy suite boasts a studio design that includes a bedroom, living area, and kitchenette all harmoniously integrated into one spacious room. You will appreciate the beautiful stone-tiled bath adorned with high ceilings and ample natural light. The unique shower area, enhanced by high windows, gives you the feeling of being outdoors while you refresh. Enjoy the covered lanai where you can dine or unwind, no matter the weather. The palm-lined road leading to your cottage is regarded as one of the most picturesque in all of Hawaii, often attracting artists and photographers alike.

Adventure awaits just a short walk away as you can explore the old donkey trail leading down to Onomea Bay along the breathtaking Scenic Highway. You can also stroll to the nearby Hawaii Botanic Gardens and grab a refreshing drink at What’s Shakin' Smoothie Stand, which offers a selection of delicious smoothies, wraps, and coffee. When you're ready to venture farther, you will find yourself equidistant from iconic destinations such as Volcano National Park, Waipio Valley, and the Mauna Kea Visitors Center.

Accommodations include a queen bed and a twin bed, providing comfortable lodging for up to three guests. The kitchenette comes equipped with essential appliances, allowing you to prepare meals with ease—plus, a barbecue grill is conveniently located on your lanai.

The development of this guest suite was completed in March 2011, thoughtfully crafted over two years. Notable features include a wheelchair-accessible bathroom and an entry level without steps for easy access from parking. As your hosts, my wife and I reside in the main house, a separate structure connected by a breezeway and courtyard with a peaceful fishpond and fountain. We are readily available to assist with dining recommendations, directions, or extra pillows to enhance your stay.
