Summary: This place is beautiful. I spent almost the entire time outside on the deck. It down poured one day, what a delight to sit there on the deck and listen to the rain in the warm weather. It always cooled off when opening the windows so we were never hot. I enjoyed making meals and just sitting on the deck, enjoying incredible view. There was a cute little stand just down the road where we bought the best sourdough bread. They had tons of cute little gifts you could purchase as well. Close to Hilo we checked out the cow cuddling just outside of Hilo for 20 per person, my son loved it one of his favorite things we did. The beds were comfortable. My kids were a little frustrated at night when the TV had spotty reception, but not a dealbreaker for us as we did not come there to watch TV. The frogs provide provided a symphony at night, wonderful to listen to did not cause an issue for sleeping. It was pitch black at night saw none of the neighbors lights felt like we were in our own little world. Communication was great highly recommend this place for anybody that wants a little remote hideaway. The wood and deck of the house is amazing. we would love to return to this place it was very comfortable.
