This lovely accommodation holds a special place in our hearts; my wife and I first visited Kona during our honeymoon and have returned every year since. After staying at various hotels and vacation rentals across the island, we were thrilled to make Kona Bali Kai our own.

Recently updated in 2022, this condo comes equipped with modern split-unit wall-mounted AC systems in every room— a rare feature in Kona Bali Kai. Each room also boasts powerful ceiling fans and a large TV in the living area, ensuring your comfort during your stay. The primary bedroom features a luxurious Cal-King bed with a firm memory foam mattress (Casper) for a restful night's sleep. The guest room is also outfitted with streaming TV options for your entertainment. You’ll appreciate the convenience of an in-unit washer/dryer and a well-appointed kitchen, perfect for preparing delicious meals that can be enjoyed on the lanai or packed for exciting day trips.

Start your mornings with invigorating walks or runs along the world-famous Ali'i Drive, or simply unwind on the lanai while observing the mesmerizing ocean waves. Summary: View is amazing and you won't get closer to the ocean! Management responsive and helpful. We appreciated the cooler and beach supplies. AC in the bedroom was out 6 days. Management was very responsive, but then repair person showed up without notice. We specifically had looked for a place with in bedroom AC, but luckily the other units worked. Bathrooms were dirty-multiple hairs in shower, shower curtain stained, and tile and tub overall worn. Washer was musty and left clothes smelling mildewy. Dead plant on the lanai. Some pictures faded badly. Pillows were so fluffy (only option) that we went and bought some flatter ones. Overall property is run down and could use attention.
