An exciting renovation of the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is scheduled from April 2024 to early 2025. Efforts are being made to minimize guest impact:
- Beach Access: Operations at Mauna Kea Beach continue as normal.
- Restaurants: Most dining options remain open, with temporary closures for one restaurant. One breakfast, one lunch, and two dinner choices will always be available daily.
- Pools: The Mauna Kea Resort pool will be renovated sometime in 2025, with no changes to access at The Westin Hapuna.
- Fitness Centers: Operations at the Mauna Kea fitness center continue normally until the new facility opens; the Hapuna Fitness Center is also available.
- Golf Courses: The Mauna Kea Golf Course will be closed from April 15 to November 15, 2024, while The Westin Hapuna Golf Course remains operational.
- Tennis: Continues to operate without changes.
- Spa Services: Guests may utilize the Hapuna Spa by Mandara while the Mauna Kea Spa is under renovation.
