Positive: Napili Village is a great location. Close to Napili Bay. There is a great cafe and a Snorkel Bob's right in the same building. There is a Napili Market (grocery store) and The Honoloa Store (in Kapalua), both within 5 mins. Has a nice pool. Great Ohana Room. Nice laundry room. The rooms look out onto the garden/pool area and have a nice balcony for drying things. We didn't cook at all, so can't comment on the kitchen. The beds were comfortable (always a plus)! And the shower was hot with good water pressure. And there are several restaurants you can walk to on Napili Bay or in Kapalua. Oh, and no TV in the room, which is a HUGE plus for us :-).
Negative: The room was advertised on booking.com as having 3 beds - a king bed and 2 sofa beds - when we showed up and got to our room, there was a king bed and a day bed (twin size). When I asked about the 2nd sofa bed, the staff person said that all their rooms are the same (i.e., king + single day/sofa bed) so she wasn't sure why the listing said 3 beds. She gave us a roll-away cot, but it was for a small child, not for 5'6" 13-year-old kid. I was very unhappy about this, but neither Booking.com nor the hotel would provide a discount even though I had screenshots of the listing saying the room had three separate beds. This place is great - staff are nice, location is fantastic, comfortable, etc.- but if you need 3 beds, please know that one of them will be a small roll-away cot. It may be that Napili Village does have rooms with 3 real beds and they just weren't available (our booking was last minute) - I recommend double-checking!
