This enchanting guest house is located directly across from the main family residence. On the ground floor, you will find a full-size bathroom, kitchen, washer/dryer, and comfortable sitting and dining areas. Ascend the staircase to discover three cozy bedrooms and a welcoming living room that offers picturesque views of the garden and ocean. This space serves as a perfect sanctuary for families or groups seeking a refreshing escape within an ancient Hawaiian forest, surrounded by native flora and fauna. Indulge in the option of either indoor or outdoor showers to enhance your tropical experience.

Your outdoor experience is further enhanced with a dedicated seating and dining area that includes a spacious hammock, a dining table, and a fire table available for an additional propane fee. Accommodating up to eight guests comfortably, this guest house boasts three queen beds and a pull-out sofa bed (additional guests incur a charge of $20 per person, per night). Conveniently located, Kona International Airport is just 7.5 miles away, making transportation effortless (we highly recommend renting a car or using a rideshare service). Explore the wonders of Mountain Thunder Coffee Farm nearby, where free guided tours offer insights into their exclusive Private Reserve coffee, alongside captivating walking tours through lava tubes.

If you're planning a special event, consider Pa’ina Place, an idyllic venue set in a garden setting designed for weddings and private gatherings. We kindly request you to remove shoes and all sand before entering the unit. Please note that parties, smoking, and non-registered guests are not permitted on the property. To maintain safety for the host family’s children and pets, wandering beyond the garden area immediately adjacent to the rental home is prohibited. Additionally, for the safety of your little ones, remember to lock tall ocean-facing windows.

Upon checkout, please assist us by following these guidelines:

• Dispose of all trash in tied bags in the bins outside the carport—no loose trash, please.
• Leave towels piled together; no need to strip beds.

With children living on-site, we kindly ask that you drive slowly in the driveway (no more than 5 mph). Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm to ensure a peaceful retreat for all guests.
