Summary: We stayed at this property in mid-August, and it was truly perfect for our family of 7 adults. The layout was ideal, with just the right number of beds and bathrooms, and the home was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, and the location was ideal - close to beaches, shopping, and even a little fruit stand up the street, which we visited often. The thoughtful touches made our stay even better: plenty of towels (including beach towels), shampoo/conditioner, soaps, luggage racks, and a wagon full of beach chairs and umbrellas. The only downside - and it was significant in the August heat - was the lack of air conditioning. We knew going in that there wasn't AC, but reviews suggested the ocean breeze and fans provided would be sufficient. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for us. Even with multiple fans running and all windows open, the house stayed uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to sleep. The bamboo curtains blocked much of the airflow, and the back room with the twin beds was particularly stifling. It got so unbearable that my daughters and I stayed in a hotel for a night to get a decent night's sleep. Aside from the heat, the home itself was absolutely lovely and well-suited for families. I would happily stay again in cooler months or if they add AC.
