Summary: Having stayed at other rental properties, they often feel like- well, rental properties. Hale Alaula is miles beyond anything we could've asked for! This felt more like staying at a family member's home. What we loved: The beds were very comfortable! Beach gear was available to us in the garage. The property was BEAUTIFUL! The plants were enough to keep us in awe for hours. The property management was incredibly accommodating and patient with my (many) questions. The community is peaceful and gated. The views were amazing from the lanai. The proximity to everything you'd want to do in the area is perfect! Communication was swift and clear, and everything we could hope for. The decor felt like home. So much so, that my little ones decided to "camp out" on the couch the entire stay. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking waterfalls! The outdoor shower was clutch after days at the beach. The drawers in the kitchen were stocked with little things we might need, like tape or scissors. Movies to watch and streaming services in downtime on the TVs. What we didn't like: Leaving was a bummer. I have honestly never stayed at a better property at any location. Genuine love and attention goes into this place and it shows. You feel the Aloha Spirit at Hale Alaula!! We will book all future trips to Hawaii around the availability of this property. Mahalo!
