Summary: The Red Ohana is a cute little cottage just outside of Waimea. It is a great location from which to explore the Hilo side of Hawaii, and Waimea is a lovely little town to explore. (don’t miss the Wednesday and Saturday Kamuela Farmers Market) Laura was an excellent host, great communication and very welcoming - she kept us informed of everything we needed to know. On our last day, due to bad weather, we asked at the last minute if we could extend our stay by a day to accommodate our late flight off the island, and Laura was flexible enough to accommodate our request and allow us the extra day, which we very much appreciated. Mahalo, Laura - we hope to be back to visit again sometime.
