Summary: Big Island Stays were fabulous hosts. Igor was incredibly helpful—checking in once in a while, and responding to the few questions we had super fast. We always felt we were in good hands and knew if anything came up it would be handled really promptly. The owners have provided a really helpful three ring binder about the property, the town, and the island.The house was perfect for us. It's very quiet and private. The back yard is enclosed by a stone wall and fencing and has lush vegetation all around. We ate all our meals on the lanai there, and had many pleasant stretches of time reading and talking while listening to the songs and calls of a vast variety of birds.The house is very nicely furnished. The owners have gone to considerable length and thoughtfulness to make it comfortable and frustration free. The mattresses are very comfortable and very high quality, as are the sheets and towels. The kitchen is well equipped with good cutlery and a variety of Greenpan cookware. And they have also gone out of their way to make it environmentally friendly—solar panels that provide most of the electricity, the Greenpan cookware, environment-friendly soap, shampoo; and more. The location is fabulous. You can be in the heart of the action on Ali'i Drive in no more than five minutes. We loved having this wonderful, comfortable, pleasant house to call home for our stay in Hawaii. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a great place to stay near in Kona.
