This studio is located in a premier oceanfront resort on Kahana Bay located in west Maui. Resort is just a short drive to Whalers Village Shopping Center in Kaanapali Beach, an open-air mall that encompasses more than 90 fine stores and restaurants, outdoor stage with live entertainment and the Whalers Village Museum. It is just a short drive to the historic whaling town of Lahaina and just a short drive to Kapalua Bay for world-class golf.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION **
BEACH:
The beach fronting resort experiences SEASONAL OCEAN CURRENT CHANGES that impacts the beach's physical appearance and size. During the fall and winter, it is not uncommon that these currents sweep away a very large amount of sand, which will gradually return back in spring and summer, based on the ocean's current activity. Check the photos to view the beach appearance depending on season.
This circumstance, unfortunately, affects the accessibility of our valued guests to the beach. While there is no direct access from the property to the beach during the fall and winter season, there is a public beach access within 5 minutes walking distance.
Our guests' safety is of the utmost concern for us. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
OCEAN SAFETY & WHALE WATCH:
While beaches on Maui are lovely, the ocean can inflict serious injury or even death. Never turn you back on the ocean. The ocean can appear calm yet be capable of inflicting serious injury and even death to those who are not vigilant. Entering and swimming in the ocean is always hazardous. Whale watching is seasonal in Maui, please do your own research.
CRITTERS:
Insects, pest and geckos are part of Maui eco system and are usually harmless. Geckos are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don't kill them. HOA schedules regular professional pest control services but since
Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
NOISE:
While HOA makes all the necessary rules and regulations and enforce them but we make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
Unforeseen Maintenance or Appliance issues:
Occasionally our HOA/Handyman has to perform maintenance to maintain the quality of our guests for short periods and this may cause some inconvenience. All amenities and appliances are complimentary. Appliances are machines, as with any machine they might break at any time, these include, but not limited to, all amenities, door locks, etc. without any prior warning. Hope guests understand this maintenance is common in any property and doesn't constitute a breach of this agreement or give guests any right to refund or rental adjustment. Note: Even though we regularly maintain the movement of Lanai sliding door is hard due to age and location of building, we apologize for the inconvenience.
Please be mindful of our cancellation policy:
We strongly encourage our guests to buy travel insurance for coverage in the instance that interruptions force your stay to be canceled. Additionally, weather can be unpredictable; in the event of loss of power and /or internet, or any other “out of our control” situation due to local storms, wild fires, tsunamis, we will NOT GRANT REFUNDS. We follow a strict cancellation policy as defined well in advance.
