Summary: The "cottage" really is an octagon! The decks with views of the ocean and views of the beautiful hills behind were just wonderful. We grilled one night, ate breakfast outside, and absolutely loved star gazing. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed (including a blender), and the bathroom was clean and nicely designed.Yumi was a great host: always easy to communicate with and had quick answers to questions.The Pu'ukohola Heiau National Historic Site was an amazing place to see whales, and there were volunteers to help spot them on Tuesday morning. We drove south of Captain Cook for snorkeling one day and it was great to see another part of the island. The farmer's market in Waimea was full of fresh food and friendly people. There is so much to do on Hawaii.This place was a great jumping off point for adventures, and it was also a wonderful place to relax
