From August 15, 2024, through August 21, 2024, the B building at this splendid location will be undergoing a fumigation project, followed by an extensive plumbing project scheduled from September 17, 2024, to October 9, 2024. Standard work hours for these projects are from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with preparations starting as early as 7:00 AM. However, rest assured that any noisy work will not start before 10:00 AM to minimize disruptions, and not all units will be impacted simultaneously.

You will find plenty of amenities at Papakea Resort, including two oceanfront saltwater swimming pools—one heated pool right outside your lanai—along with beach/pool towels provided for your convenience. The resort also features three tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, 12 stainless steel Weber BBQs, two saunas, and putting greens. Unlike many other condo resorts in Maui, Papakea is designed to maintain a low-rise, low-density atmosphere with beautifully landscaped grounds that span over 13 acres, complete with serene koi ponds, all situated right on the famous Kaanapali Beach.

A nominal facility fee of $17 per day applies for your first 10 consecutive days within a 30-day period. This fee covers a parking permit, Wi-Fi access throughout the resort, cable services, and local calls during your stay. Additional vehicles can be accommodated for $5 per day, payable at the Front Desk upon check-in. Please note that effective July 1, 2024, this Facilities Use Fee will increase to $25 per night and will apply to all nights booked.

Summary: We rented from the condo next door last year.. Thinking most of the condos were well taken care of, we decided to rent from the same resort and management company. We arrived late and once at the condo the temp inside was 78 degrees. Turned in the AC unit and it ran for 20 minutes and shut off.. it continued to do that for 12 days. We continued to walk through the condo to get familiar and found several things amiss.. Dried food stuck to the counter, hair in the refrigerator, kick plate for the bathroom cabinets broken, bottom drawer in the bathroom broken, what appeared to be black mold in the grout in the shower, ceiling fan in the bedroom has a broken fan blade and could not use the fan as it was unbalanced, and the smoke detector removed from the wall and in a drawer in the kitchen. Called the management company the next morning and explained all the issues and received "I'm Sorry!" Maintenance came out the next day and we showed him all the items and he was as upset as we were.. I will think differently before I rent from there again.
