Summary: The site was beautiful and expansive, and tons of wild turkeys that would roast at night. Loud frogs would sound through the night, but you could sleep through it. The mermaid pond was beautiful and fun to use, though be warned that it is a gift to the owner of the home, and restricted to use only between the hours of 6 pm to 9 pm. There were several issues with the cottages (some things were broken or not working) and the owners responded/tried to address the problems. Be warned: there are lots of flies in the home especially if you leave the doors open. A wiley cat likes to sneak in if you don't lock the door carefully :-) We appreciated the space and green scene. It is about a 25ish minute drive to the beach so if you are wanting the beach to be closer, the description is entirely accurate!
