Summary: Unit was comfortable, the lanai was a wonderful place to hang out and eat, the setting was gorgeous, and the birds and frogs provide your evening serenade! Wonderful view from the lanai looking down the slope toward Kailua-Kona and the sea. As other reviews caution, the paved lane/driveway is very abruptly steep as it leaves Mamalahoa Highway, but is no problem with an SUV. A car maybe (?) can make it if you approach the driveway from the south and take it real slow easing off the highway up the sharp initial incline. We had a great stay there with 4 adults and two littles for a week, and would love to stay there again!
