Summary: The Starfish was recently remodeled. There were some definite pros but a few cons as well. Pros1) Location was pretty good for exploring the southern tip of the big island2) There was adequate AC3) The kitchenette was nice (the retrowave)4) The grounds were beautiful and well maintainedCons1) The place still smelled very strongly of paint and construction materials. VOCs are not healthy to inhale and we were sleeping there all night with closed doors and windows. 2) The rental contract was very extensive for a one night stay. It was the equivalent of a yearlong lease. Ive never seen such a contract on VRBO before.3) There were A Lot of rules and threats of finacial consequences. It doesn't set a very positive tone. 4) The price was pretty expensive for the space. But all in all I'd give them 3.5-4 stars. The place was nice. Andy
