Welcome to the South Island Launchpad, an inviting NEW 3-bedroom home where you can fully experience the beauty of South Hawaii Island. Unlike the overcrowded areas of Kona, our spacious 1400 Sqft residence serves as an ideal base for all your island adventures.

This cozy retreat is perfect for individuals or families seeking a serene getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You will appreciate the modern amenities that ensure you feel right at home, including Wi-Fi, TVs in each bedroom, a washer and dryer, and a dishwasher.

To reach our lovely home, simply take the exit off Hwy 11 at mile marker 80 onto Aloha Blvd. From there, enjoy a scenic 5-mile drive up the back of Mauna Loa to your tranquil escape. Situated on a spacious corner lot of 1 acre, your view of South Point is unobstructed, with only the stunning lava landscape and vast sky before you.

Your location places you conveniently near exciting destinations such as Na’alehu, South Kona, and Volcanos National Park. Don't miss the unique Hawaiian beaches nearby, including pebble, black sand, and green sand options. For ocean access, we recommend visiting Whittington Beach Park, just a quick drive through Na'alehu.

If you're traveling with a larger group, consider our adjacent 400 sqft studio unit, available for an additional fee of $70 per night. This newly built space includes a full bath, kitchen, and living area with a Queen bed and Full-size pullout couch.

In traditional Hawaiian fashion, there is no air conditioning in the house. With an elevation of 3600', temperatures typically range from 55-75 degrees in winter and 60-80 degrees in summer, accompanied by a delightful breeze. We recommend packing a sweatshirt for those cooler mornings and evenings.

Should the temperature rise, simply open a window; if it becomes chilly, wrap yourself in an additional blanket. A small heater is also available, but it's vital to use it sparingly and only when in the main area of the house.

All bathrooms feature modern toilets equipped with bidets. We kindly ask that you refrain from flushing toilet paper or other personal items—please use the designated containers instead.

Our home utilizes a catchment water supply system, ensuring that the rainwater is meticulously filtered and UV-treated for clean drinking water at your tap.
