The Island: Known as the 'Garden Island', Kauai features diverse landscapes filled with rainforests, majestic cliffs, canyons, and pristine beaches. To the north, explore the steep Na Pali district, where peaks reach heights of 4,000 feet and remnants of ancient temples await discovery. Follow the eastward flow of the Wailua River as it meanders through dense forests before cascading into the Pacific Ocean. Venture south to visit the popular tourist district, a former favorite of Hawaiian royalty, and on the west side lies the quiet town of Waimea, near Captain Cook's first landing. At the island's center, you’ll find Mount Wai'ale'ale—the wettest spot on Earth.

Activities: In addition to having a beautiful beach located across the river from your vacation home, which is only a 10-minute stroll around the bay, you can easily drive north or south for world-renowned surfing, diving, and snorkeling at Tunnels Beach. Continue past the wet and dry caves to reach Haena, where you can snorkel or embark on a hike along Kauai's famous Na Pali coastline.
