Summary: We really appreciated Erik's flexibility and understanding! We unfortunately had to cancel our trip last minute due to a hurricaine forecast to hit in the middle of our trip. We found that our trip insurance would not cover cancellation unless our flight was cancelled or if we were on the island when the storm hit (which we did not want to risk). When we spoke with Erik, he generously allowed us to keep part of our payment for the stay. We truly appreciate his kindness and hope we can stay at his studio in the future!
