Summary: Overall our stay was good. The feel of the room and building is more casual, sort of a beach feel, which I suppose is appropriate for the setting. I had the impression from the listing that it was going to be a more upscale property. The location is not 15 steps as indicated in the listing, instead a long block away but still convenient to Waikiki Beach. Free parking is easily available on the street. Anyone considering a stay should understand that Waikiki Beach is a busy, noisy place, which can disrupt sleep, so just be aware of that when booking. There appear to be less expensive options with a city view, which could be a better value. Having a partial ocean view without a balcony is not really worth a premium when spending time mostly out and about.
