Positive: Kapa'a Sanda was amazing! We had an ocean front room which was so perfect during our stay. We enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset so having our room and patio area right in front, made the whole trip spectacular. The beach was steps away and enjoyable to just float and relax in because there's a little inlet of water that is like a natural wading pool. There are cafes, restaurants, and shopping centers walking distance which was very convenient. Parking was also available and we saw a laundry room area which we didn't use but would have been convenient had we needed it. The room itself was very complete. Although small, we had everything at hand. We bought groceries to cook and found everything a kitchen needs. The Brita water filter system in the fridge was very nice to have. They provide beach chairs, boogie boards, ice chest, towels, literally, everything you need for a beach day. These little details are what make a stay away from home, feel like you're still at home. The check-in was easy as was check out. The rental company followed up with us to make sure we got settled in well and had everything we needed. Great experience all around. We'll definitely be back!
Negative: We booked via booking.com and after we booked we received a private message from the rental company saying we had to pay in full directly with them. It was a bit tedious having to book twice and in full. I use booking.com for the convenience of paying later and because they already have all my info on file. I personally didn't like having to do the booking twice and having a time limit otherwise they said my reservation would be cancelled. Hopefully they can find a better way to do one booking via the platform without having to redo the booking again direct.
