Summary: I stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. The unit was extremely clean, comfortable, modern-feeling and nicely laid out. If anything it seemed bigger than the photos. It's tucked away at the back of the property lot, separated from the main home by a big covered walkway, so it's private but also feels secure. Mainly, it is an easy 4 minute walk to gorgeous Kailua Beach, and half of the 4 minutes is on a nice sandy path leading from the main road to the beach. It is really easy to get up early (around 5 a.m.) and pop out to the beach with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise, which is always amazing. The hosts were friendly and made check-in and check-out easy. I didn't use the pool but it looks nice and is often not being used. Safeway is around a 15 minute walk from there and I didn't feel the need to rent a car. Mainly... the beach!! Just one thing to note that I knew from reading reviews is that the home is located along a pretty busy residential street, so you sometimes hear road noise in the unit and if someone wanted to spend a lot of time by the pool in a quiet yard then that would be something to consider. I'm pretty sensitive to noise but it didn't bother me because I knew about it beforehand, the bed is on the opposite end of the lot from the street. and I didn't hang out in the yard, spent a ton of time walking on the beach and around Kailua. Also, wi-fi connection was strong. All in all a really lovely place to stay and I could have stayed longer.
