Positive: The location is perfect. You can walk to the Mall in about 10 minutes. Walk the other direction and plenty of food and shopping. The beach and lagoon are very close and easy to get to down the walking ramp. The unit is located perfectly with beautiful views of the beach and lagoon. The key less door lock was great. Nice not to have to carry around a key. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms with 5 people. The store and ice cream shop were handy and we used a lot.
Negative: I had read all the other reviews and saw plenty of negative things. But we are a pretty easy going family and I thought maybe some of the negative reviews were people just being too critical. But they were all spot on!!! The curtains are still stained. The window tint is peeling on all the windows. The sliding doors to go out to the lanai are very, very hard to open and close . The rug on the lanai should just be thrown away. It is all worn and tattered. The king size bed is extremely soft. Almost feels like you’re sleeping on a water bed. Very uncomfortable! The pillows are thin and old. The bedding seemed clean, but was very worn out especially the king size comforter, the dressers are very worn. We never were able to get one of the t.v.’s to work even with the directions . disappointing there are only six towel sets. Would be nice to have more so you didn’t have to do laundry multiple times on your trip. But the laundry room is close . $3 to wash and $3 to dry. But I was aware of this before booking. We also experienced The fish/ sewage smell coming from the kitchen drain that someone else experienced. The unit was updated at some point but just not kept up well. They have lots of rules from no shoes on in the unit, you must turn off the A/C when you leave and can not turn down pass 68 degrees. I have to say it cools back down pretty fast when you get back and turn it on. But there is no A/C in the 2nd bedroom with the 2 beds. They did provide 2 box fans . All and All we had a nice vacation but I would not book this unit again. You are only paying for the location and view. I feel that it is over priced for what you get. If they updated the beds and linens and touched up or repainted the inside of the unit. And new bedroom furniture. That would go a long way . So make sure you read all the reviews and know what you are getting yourself into. I would pass on this unit and maybe try a different one next time.
