The pleasant trade winds usually keep the unit fresh and comfortable. Our location allows for a beautiful influx of ocean breeze. However, during particularly warm and humid days, you may need to use the air conditioning. Please note that electricity costs can be high on the island, so we monitor air conditioner usage closely.

While enjoying your stay, we suggest opening all windows in the living room and kitchen along with the lanai glass door and front door, only closing the screen doors to let the refreshing breeze flow through. Equipped with strong ceiling fans, your comfort is well taken care of. On your arrival day, our property manager David will open all windows and doors and activate the fans to ventilate the space. Feel free to continue this practice during your visit. At night, closing the curtains on the lanai ensures privacy while still allowing for excellent air circulation.

If you decide to utilize the air conditioning, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines:

  1. Always close all windows and the lanai door when the AC is on.
  2. Turn on the AC only when remaining indoors for an extended period and switch it off when you leave the unit.
  3. Keep the AC set to a minimum of 72 degrees, even overnight. The cozy size of the condo means it cools quickly, and using the fans simultaneously enhances comfort significantly.
