Summary: Check in was easy with no issues. The house itself is large and well appointed, but there are a few issues that we had with information about the area as well as the air conditioning in the upstairs master was not working, therefore needed repair. It took multiple phone calls to get it finally repaired on the third day. Communication could have been improved during this time to avoid me having to make calls daily. We saw information about the public beach at the property, but don't feel we were adequately informed that vehicles drive on the beach making it dangerous due to some of the actions of those driving. Also it should be noted that the neighbors have multiple dogs that do and will bark as well as visit you sitting outside, which for some wouldn't be a problem but one of our party was deathly afraid of dogs and this hampered her enjoyment of the beach view. I know this is out of the control of the owners of the hale, but again information about this would have helped in our decision making. While the home was mainly clean, there are areas where detail cleaning inside would be beneficial. We did feel that the price paid for our week-long stay made the issues encountered overall impact our enjoyment of the hale negatively.
