Experience the Magic: Walk 3 Minutes to Kealakekua Bay to See Dolphins
Imagine having the opportunity to swim with dolphins just moments away from your stay. This inviting "Ohana"-guest apartment is situated on the ground floor and offers complete privacy, separate from the two levels where I reside above. Just a short stroll down the street will lead you to the breathtaking Kealakekua Bay, known for its nourishing crystalline blue waters perfect for swimming.
For snorkeling enthusiasts, head in the opposite direction for a mere 5-minute walk to Manini Beach, where you can encounter a vibrant array of marine fish and turtles. Drift off to sleep listening to the soothing sounds of ocean waves, with additional beloved swimming spots like Honaunau Bay just 10 minutes away and County Park Ho'okena a 20-minute drive from your door.
Your Ohana spans a spacious 600 square feet (56 sq. m.), featuring a newly added ground-level deck designed for relaxation. Guests also have access to a stunning 12'x16' lanai on the second floor that offers spectacular ocean views. The apartment includes one bedroom furnished with a high-quality Queen bed, complemented by a living room area equipped with a futon that converts into a 54-inch bed, plus a Queen size Sealy air bed available upon request—all adorned with soft 100% cotton bedding.
The well-equipped kitchenette boasts more cookware than you'll need during your stay, while the wood laminate flooring laid in July 2021 adds a modern touch. Enjoy peace of mind knowing that my space is completely chemical-free. I am committed to assisting you in making the most of your visit to Captain Cook and the Big Island.
The road connecting my property to Highway 11 was recently paved in May, ensuring a smooth ride as you make your way to and from my home—something that's rare on the Big Island unless you're at a resort. The listed rate accommodates two guests per day, with each additional occupant costing $50 per day. Feel free to reach out with any inquiries; I highly value the many five-star reviews I’ve received on popular vacation rental sites.
