Summary: While we had a wonderful trip and would stay in this unit again, there are some things you should know before booking this unit. The location is amazing, but this unit needs some TLC. The beds are very hard. While our bed had a mattress topper, we actually had to go out and buy one for our daughter’s bed as she couldn’t sleep on it. And our son’s girlfriend had to sleep on couch cushions on the floor rather than on the bed. There are few amenities in the unit. While they did provide great beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, coolers and even a beach wagon, there was only laundry soap for one load, 3 garbage bags, no condiments, cooking oils, spices of any kind, no foil or baggies, one sample size shampoo, conditioner and soap for each bathroom, one sponge and a small bottle of dish soap. As we were there for two weeks, we had to go out and buy everything, and for the price we paid, those should have been included. The carpet needs cleaning, as do the couch and chair cushions. We also experienced cockroaches. We ended up leaving the trash outside whenever we left for the day, but we still found them in the kitchen and in the master bathroom. We should have contacted the management company and we didn’t, and that’s on us. A little cleaning and more amenities would provide a nicer stay for guests.
