Mele Ka ‘Āina Farm is a 2 acre sustainable tropical jungle homestead bursting with avocados, pineapples, lilikoi, coffee, bananas, kava and many exotic fruits on the western slope of Mauna Loa with sunset view into the ocean. Only minutes to the Captain Cook Monument Trailhead that leads you to pristine marine preserve of Kealakekua Bay with exceptional snorkeling. Nearby village has shopping, dining and beaches. Outdoor jungle shower. Great for couples, friends and solo adventurers

The guest house is a freestanding building 200’ feet past the main farm house with its own driveway, parking, entrance and yard in the north west corner of the farm. The private guest house is the 2nd floor, and an open, light filled studio apartment with kitchenette, half-bath, bedroom, lounge and balcony overlooking the private guest house yard, private entrance, private driveway and private parking and to the west for sunsets into the pacific. Mele Ka 'Āina Farm is an active working farm, if you would like to seek us out we are usually found in the pineapple terraces or kava beds with the ducks and chickens and harvesting or mulching around our 40+ avocados trees. Mele Ka 'Āina Farm does use the 1st story level of the building with separate access from the opposite and back side for farm storage and occasional propagation workshop at times depending on seasonal farm projects.
