As you step into the inviting ambiance of our condo located within Kauhale Makai, often referred to as “Village by the Sea,” you'll feel instantly at home. This charming community is positioned right against the beach, providing an ideal vantage point to catch breathtaking sunsets. The amenities include two refreshing pools, a hot tub, volleyball court, shuffleboard decks, a putting green, and several BBQ grills surrounded by picturesque picnic areas illuminated by evening tiki torches. Surrounded by lush landscapes filled with palm and banana trees, you’ll experience the true Aloha spirit during your stay.

Your comfort is our priority, and we have meticulously renovated the space from floor to ceiling. The kitchen is fully stocked with high-end stainless steel appliances, premium cookware, a blender, and even a Keurig with K-cups, ensuring every culinary endeavor is a delight. For dining, our table seats four comfortably, with additional counter stools available. After a day of exploration, unwind in the living room that seamlessly connects to the kitchen, and watch your favorite programs on the 55” TV. With a queen sleeper sofa, the condo accommodates up to four adults effortlessly.

The cozy bedroom features a plush queen-size bed adorned with both memory foam and standard pillows, plus extra bed linens for your comfort. The en suite bathroom exudes a hotel-style freshness, complemented by fluffy towels made readily available for your use. As an added bonus, we supply beach essentials, including towels, chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler pack. Stay connected with high-speed WiFi and cable TV, or use the landline phone for free calls to the mainland, Canada, and Guam. For your convenience, there’s a coin-operated laundry facility within the complex, and parking is available at no additional cost.

Located at the base of the majestic Haleakala volcano, Kihei boasts stunning mountain views and is lined with picturesque beaches. Here, you'll find local food, shopping options, and a plethora of activities like snorkeling, surfing, and paddleboarding. It's important to note that all beaches in Hawaii are public, so you can explore freely without constraints. In conjunction with neighboring Wailea, the area offers numerous shops, restaurants, and happy hour delights. Convenient grocery stores, including Safeway, Times, and Foodland, are within easy reach, while Costco and Target are a quick stop on your way from the airport.

To explore Maui further, many of our guests opt for a rental vehicle, as it's the best way to navigate the island's beauty. Conveniently, Kihei is located just a short 15-minute drive from the airport.

If you're traveling with little ones, we provide baby essentials through Nokaoi Baby Rentals. You can arrange rentals directly through their website, and they will deliver items to your unit. Please keep in mind that personal package deliveries such as Amazon are restricted unless it's a medical emergency and approved in advance.

The state of Hawai'i imposes a Transient Accommodation Tax of 10.25% and a sales tax of 4.166%, along with a Maui County tax of 3.5%. As hosts, we are required to collect these applicable taxes.

For added convenience, laundry facilities are available throughout the complex, payable via app or coins. We also provide Tide pods for your laundry needs. While we supply plenty of beach gear, please note that snorkeling equipment is not included as a precaution due to COVID-19.

Smoking is prohibited in the condo and its premises, with strict penalties for violations. Finally, if you enjoy pickleball, Waipuilani Park is just minutes down the road, offering great options for recreation.
