The meaning of "Hanai" is "adopted family," and during your stay at our home, you’ll truly feel like part of the family. The spacious yard is a haven, featuring an abundance of aromatic flowers, banana trees, and coconut palms, inviting you to unwind and soak up the island atmosphere.

On the upper level, parents can take advantage of their own private living area boasting stunning views of the bay. The luxurious Alii (royalty) room features a California King bamboo canopy bed, comfortable seating, and a lanai where you can witness some of the world's most breathtaking sunsets. A fully-equipped kitchen and a dining room accommodating eight guests make it easy to gather for meals or special celebrations.

Downstairs, enjoy a separate living room along with ample space to snack and relax. The Sandcastle Sanctuary offers both a queen-size bed and a built-in daybed, making it perfect for grandparents or couples with children. The cozy daybed serves as a tranquil reading nook, accompanied by gentle ocean breezes that flow through the curtains. Additionally, a portable crib is available for little ones needing a nap. The Volcano Room features a double bed adorned with decor inspired by Madame Pele, the goddess of fire, while the Captain Cook Quarters includes a twin-size daybed decorated with aquatic themes for young adventurers who dream of "sleeping with the fishes." There are also two queen-size sleeper sofas—one upstairs and one downstairs—to ensure everyone has a place to rest comfortably.

Just across the bay, you'll find the historic Captain Cook monument, marking the site where the legendary explorer met his fate. The bay is a playground for spinner dolphins, which visit frequently, and offers unparalleled snorkeling opportunities in this remarkable marine sanctuary.
