Early risers can watch the sunrise each morning or connect with the moon rise every evening over Lanikai Ridge. The cottage is clean, bright, and airy, lit by skylights, and cooled from trade winds. Relax and enjoy your vacation in our quiet neighborhood away from all the hustle and bustle of Waikiki for a much better value-driven price!

The property is located about 2-5 miles from Conde Nast's rated three 'Best Beaches' in the world, Kailua, Lanikai, and Waimanalo Beaches. Kailua is famous for its water sports and we can recommend places to purchase or rent the toys to help you stay in the water, like surfboards, kayaks, windsurfers, masks and snorkels, kitesurfing, wing foiling, and electric foiling gear.

Built in 2002, this standard 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage has approximately 1300 sq. ft. of cozy indoor and airy outdoor living spaces - much larger than other 2 bedroom houses in Hawaii.

Master bedroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom, smart tv, ceiling fans, a/c, and a skylight. It has an en-suite bathroom with a large soak tub & shower.

The guest bedroom has a king bed, desk & chair, smart t.v ceiling fans, and a/c.

The main bathroom has a tub & shower.

An open floor plan has a dining table that seats 4 comfortably with 2 seats at the large breakfast bar, elephant bamboo loveseat & 2 chairs, smart tv, a/c, 2 different & super fast WiFi systems, books and games.

The kitchen is lit by an overhead skylight, has a full size refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal and small appliances, e.g. coffee maker, toaster, blender. Stainless steel cookware, dinnerware set, and utensils provided.

The large lanai has a bar-height dining table that seats 4 to relax and enjoy the views, with additional seating on outdoor loveseats, a stainless steel gas grill for you to enjoy outdoor meals, overlooks the town and pool on the property, with great views of sunrises and moon rises over Lanikai Ridge every day.

There is a large 30x15 ft blue-tiled turtle pool with a slide for the adventurous.

There are lots of bath and beach towels available, and a change of linens.

The cottage is completely separated from the owner-occupied main house located on the same spacious property. The owners have one extremely friendly and cuddly hypoallergenic Goldendoodle that resides in the owner's house. The dog is gated in the pool patio area and is not allowed to access the guest house grounds.

***Please note*** The cottage is accessible only by stairs. The stairs start with 5 steps that lead to a 30 ft. landing, 4 steps that lead to a 10 ft. landing, then 12 steps that lead to the house. This unit is not recommended for guests with injury issues or the inability to walk upstairs.
