At the east end of Molokai, you will find great little beaches, a playground for the little ones, and a small market with takeout foods is a good hour drive. There are many things to see and do on Molokai but most are all outdoors. On Molokai's west end, you will find some unspoiled beaches. There is Kepuhi Beach and it is great for surfing in the winter months and perfect for swimming/snorkeling in the summer months. Just a short walk from there and over the old golf course is the Papohaku Beach to the longest white sand beach in the state of Hawaii.
