Summary: We enjoyed our stay overall. Communication with the host was excellent throughout the trip, and the WiFi worked very well. The unit was also thoughtfully stocked with essentials including toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, coffee pods, and even a Brita water filter in the fridge, which was appreciated. The location was convenient, directly across from the beach, and having beach chairs available was a nice bonus. Tip: go to Sugar Beach Bake Shop and Ululani’s shaved ice. A couple things future guests may want to know: the unit uses window AC units, and it took a while for the space to cool down initially. Also, the windows did not seal tightly. During a particularly windy day, dirt was blown inside through the loose windows, and bugs were also able to get in when lights were on. That said, the host handled the situation professionally by arranging for a cleaner and providing a refund, which we appreciated.Also worth noting: the condo is on the second floor, and the second bedroom and bathroom are upstairs inside the unit, so there are quite a few stairs involved for anyone with mobility concerns.
