Summary: The Mahana is our favorite place to stay on Maui. The views are impeccable and it’s much less busy/crowded/noisy as the resorts next door. I thought the bed was quite comfortable too! We had a garbage disposal issue when we got into the unit and it didn’t get fixed for almost our whole trip, so we couldn’t use the kitchen sink or dishwasher. The owners were very quick to respond and did compensate us, we just wished there was more follow up on their end rather than us having to follow up. They offered many towels/linens, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and one noodle (we bought two and left them so they should have three now!). Also loved the yoga mat; we used that every day. Overall I would say the unit needs a good dusting of the lamps, mirror, headboard and a mop on the floors as things were a bit dirtier than I expected. Once that gets done along with giving a sponge to wash dishes, this would be a five star review.
