Summary: This property is conveniently located near the coconut marketplace on the east side of the island. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and there are many dining options close by. The pool area was small but clean and if you got there early, there were places in the shade to sit. The staff was fantastic and dealt fairly with us over a water issue. It provided us with a budget option making the trip possible fo us. Although this unit was advertised as updated with a garden view, the view was of a giant hedge that blocked out all the sunlight. The lanai only received minimal light throughout the day and backed onto the main highway making it very noisy. It also made the unit very dark. The unit itself was spacious with a well stocked kitchen. It also had AC which was necessary because we couldn't have the sliding glass doors open because of the traffic noise. The biggest drawback was that unit needed a good cleaning. The floors and bathroom were dirty. I cleaned the bath tub and toilet so we could use it but the bathroom fan looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There are 6 buildings onsite and units are individually owned but managed by a property management company. The traffic noise could be less in some the buildings and the units facing the pool and the ocean would be sunny. Bottom line, check the buildings location before booking.
