Positive: The location is unbeatable - waking up every morning and hearing and seeing the sounds of the ocean was amazing. My husband was even able to walk right out and snorkel every morning. One or two mornings there was even a sea turtle right there :) The combination of resort style amenities (the yoga class, the mai tai party, the pickle ball courts, and the beautiful grounds) with a full-sized condo (not just a little hotel room) was perfection - especially with our young kids. We could put them to sleep in the bedroom and then fix up something in the kitchen and hang out in our living room or lanai. The condo also came with beach chairs, snorkels and a few other amenities that came in very useful. We were also within easy distance of top beaches, could walk to food trucks, slappy cakes breakfast restaurant, a coffee shop and playground/beach park. It was perfect :)
Negative: The only thing that could have been improved would have been if golf equipment had been included so that we could have tried out the small golf course on the grounds. But that is just me looking for something to write about in this section. The price is also very steep, but that seems to be the case across the board in Maui. If we could have afforded a 2-bedroom, that would have been ideal, but we made a 1-bedroom work and had a fantastic time.
