Positive: The hotel was in a great location and it was very clean. Most of the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The staff at the grab and go for breakfast were very friendly and the food was great! We felt the hotel was a good value.
Negative: We had a room on the first floor, which we felt was restrictive because we kept our curtains drawn the entire time for privacy, despite the beautiful view we could have had. Our experience with the female concierge was not great as we felt she had an “attitude” and questioned what we were and were not interested in doing on our vacation. We went to the brew pub for happy hour, but there were no seats at the bar and we were only interested in drinks. Therefore, we had to take our drinks in a to-go cup and were not afforded the happy hour price. The walls are thin; we could hear conversations and television from our neighbors the entire time, even though the volume of each was at a normal level. The facility is dated.
Summary: The hotel has a lot of potential, although some of the negatives were discouraging.
