Summary: We visited Maui for the first time and couldn’t have been treated better than we were by the owners of our time share rental at the Hyatt Residence Club. Brenda was absolutely wonderful throughout the process. Prior to the trip, she actively kept us informed about the details of the trip (including a lengthy, specially written summary of things to do and places to go based on her experience) and promptly responded to all of our questions and concerns. She called the hotel directly on numerous occasions in her effort to make sure we got everything we wanted and hoped for, including the particular villa she recommended for us (which we got). Whenever anything came up during our stay, she was just as quick to respond and assist. We felt she truly cared for us and did everything within her power to make our visit as flawless and wonderful as possible. She even had a gorgeous ensemble of local flowers awaiting our arrival in the villa, which we enjoyed throughout our stay. The hotel and villa were exceptional. The hotel had a beautiful lobby which opened up into a large pool area in front of the beach, with palm trees everywhere. The staff were always friendly, courteous and helpful. The villa was spacious and clean, with an amazing view of Ka’anapali beach and the neighboring Lanai Island. It comfortably fit our party of five and was a first class (two bedroom) suite, meeting our highest expectations. We spent much of our time on the lanai, relaxing and enjoying the views of the pool area and shoreline and beach below. The kitchen had most of what we needed to cook our breakfast, lunch and dinner whenever we chose to eat in, with supplies easily accessible from markets nearby (although pricey, Brenda recommended we stop off at Costco upon arrival, which is near the airport, which we did; Walmart is also nearby Costco, for those things you do not need in bulk). We also took advantage of the BBQ area the hotel offers its guests, which was clean and easy to use. It would have been nice to have cleaning service everyday like a hotel but this was a residence club and the cleaning service was once a week, which for the most part was sufficient. Maui is gorgeous, peaceful and relaxing. Brenda helped make our stay in the Hyatt residence club villa a carefree vacation in paradise that will live with us forever.
