With a prime location directly on one of Maui’s top swimming and walking beaches, Sugar Beach, Kihei Sands is an idyllic spot for those seeking sun and relaxation. Take a dip in the inviting oceanfront pool, complete with ample lounge chairs for sunbathing and pool noodles for leisurely floating. If you prefer a softer touch underfoot, our lush grassy area is set up with additional lounge chairs and umbrellas. The covered patio, furnished with tables and comfortable seating for six, is perfect for enjoying meals or engaging in friendly games.

Start your day right with freshly brewed coffee available by 7 am. Simply grab a mug and head to your PRIVATE BALCONY, where you can enjoy the tranquility as birds chirp and the sun rises over Haleakala in the east. It's a perfect time to observe early risers taking their morning stroll.

Rest soundly in the new king bed featured in the MAIN-LEVEL BEDROOM, while the upstairs LOFT BEDROOM provides a cozy queen bed, its own TV, and a recently remodeled (9/2023) ENSUITE BATHROOM for your convenience.

Stay cool and comfortable throughout your visit with three high-end Mitsubishi A/C units installed in the living area, main-level bedroom, and loft bedroom.

Your culinary adventures await in the fully stocked KITCHEN, equipped with all the essentials for meal preparation. You will find spices and oils in the cupboards, trash can liners, a new sponge, dish soaps, Windex for glass surfaces, and a roll of paper towels for your needs.

Each bedroom features its own private BATH, furnished with a hairdryer, three rolls of toilet paper, two bars of hotel soap, and plush towel sets for each person. Feel free to bring along your favorite hair products or purchase them locally. Both walk-in showers come equipped with safety bars for added security.

For beach outings and day trips, you'll discover four Tommy Bahama beach chairs, a TB umbrella, and a cooler waiting for you in the closets. We also provide beach towels so you can change into your swimsuits and dive into the warm waters right upon your arrival.

If you can resist the temptation of Kihei's renowned restaurants, take advantage of the two BBQ grills available for preparing delightful dinners while watching stunning sunsets from the oceanfront patio.

On-site facilities include two coin-operated laundromats (one on each floor) that feature bookshelves stocked with reading material and board games. We recommend bringing laundry pods and dryer sheets from home for your convenience. While we do not have housekeeping staff, arrangements can be made with our vendor for mid-stay cleaning if desired.
