Additionally, the resort is planning significant renovations starting June 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, including villa refurbishments and plumbing infrastructure upgrades. These improvements will occur daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. HST, so expect some construction noise and possible intermittent disruptions to amenities.

During this period, an electrical distribution system upgrade will also take place from March 1 to August 31, 2024. There may be times when certain areas of the resort, including villas, experience extended outages. Once the local electric company transitions to generator power in early August, it will be necessary for the villa towers to rely on generator power continuously until the project is completed, although brief interruptions may still occur as systems are transitioned back toward standard operations at the end of August.
