Summary: We really enjoyed the house - especially sitting on Heeia Bay, which was so nice we could sit on the porch and watch the waves and listen as they rolled in over the rocks. Note that there is no access to the Bay for swimming from the back porch. It's not a swimming bay anyway. The house itself is large, with 3 bedrooms with their own private entrances from the front courtyard and one more inside. Incidentally, the bedrooms are the coolest parts of the house because the window A/Cs work best in smaller spaces. The main living area of the house got a bit hot in the afternoons as the sun shines directly into the big picture windows and only 2 window A/Cs can't cool that big space. But we were out and about for most of the day, so it wasn't much of a problem. And you can always jump into the pool. The location was great. A big public beach with rental paddle boards is a 5 minute drive north, and just one bay south is where you can swim with manta rays. A grocery store is also only 5 minutes away. It takes 15 minutes to get to town. The only real problem was the driveway was very tight and a difficult entry/exit for the huge SUV we rented.
