Summary: Could not have been easier. Host provided directions with landmarks and specific turns, noting the one specific parking spot that we had access to, and detailed instructions for how to access keys. All descriptions of the room were accurate and our stay was wonderful. The location is fantastic for anyone who wants to be near the action but not right in the action. It was quiet but about a five minute walk from the bustling part of Kailua Kona (which was exactly what we were looking for). The only small downside - which we blame on Hawaii and not the host - was due to a reasonable request to leave the AC and fans off when not home, it was always warm inside when we got home. But all fans and AC work well to make it comfortable. Just worth noting if you are out and about getting warm in the Hawaiian sun, you won't have an instant reprieve when you get back. Small thing to be sure - everything else was great and would absolutely book this again as I believe most if not all area VRBO options would have the same request on not wasting electricity.
